The Garrison gastropub appoints new head chef

The award-winning gastropub The Garrison, on Bermondsey Street, has appointed new head chef Tom Langdon.

Langdon joins The Garrison following experience working as chef de partie at The Savoy (2006-2007), chef de partie at Bord’eaux & JW Steakhouse at the Grosvenor House, junior sous chef at The Gun, ETM group (2010-2012), and most recently head chef at The Red Lion (Antics Pub Group).

Langdon brings with him a set of fresh ideas and his newly introduced spring menus include ‘Bocconcini, walnut crumb and artichoke dip’, ‘Warm octopus & potato salad, smoked paprika vinaigrette, seaweed salsa’ and ‘Seared rump of salt marsh lamb, spinach, grilled artichoke, nutmeg, dauphinois, kidney jus’.

The Garrison is part of the Village London restaurant group co-founded by Clive Watson and Adam White. Additional sites include Village East, also located on Bermondsey Street and The Riding house Café in Fitzrovia.
