Four culinary giants team up to host dinner for Hospitality Action

Written by: Admin
Manchester House head chef Aiden Byrne has called on celebrity chefs Tom Aikens, Daniel Clifford and Michael Wignall, to host a special fundraising dinner at the NorthWest-based restaurant in aid of Hospitality Action.

The four award-winning Michelin-starred chefs will join forces to create an eight-course menu on Tuesday 18th February in aid of the charity, which provides a lifeline for current and former hospitality industry workers who find themselves in a crisis or in need.

In addition, Manchester-based Byrne is giving one lucky person the opportunity to enter his kitchen during the day and on the night to cook with the four award-winning chefs, all of whom have appeared on BBC television series Great British Menu.

One lucky bidder will have the once-in-a-lifetime honour of rubbing shoulders with these four culinary giants, simply by placing the highest bid by Thursday 13th February at 5pm. Winners will be selected on Friday 14th February and all funds raised will go directly to Hospitality Action – to bid, email [email protected].

For diners, each ticket will cost £200 per person, with wines to match, and £100 of each ticket will go towards Hospitality Action’s cause.

Byrne commented: “I can’t wait to get in the kitchen with Tom, Daniel and Michael– it’ll be great fun in aid of a fantastic cause, and the food will reflect our passion.

“I’ve been involved with Hospitality Action for some time and been fortunate to see the great support the charity provides to people who are struggling with something in their lives.”

Last year the charity spent £58,959 in grants in the North West region, helping hospitality staff when they are in need due to problems such as a serious illness, homelessness, poverty domestic violence or sudden redundancy.
