DBC Foodservice launches Food for Celebrations range for caterers

DBC Foodservice has launched a Food for Celebrations range to help caterers prepare for the busy party season, with Halloween, Guy Fawkes Night, Christmas, New Year’s Eve fast approaching.
The range is featured in a new 'Party Season 2011' brochure and is available now from DBC's 12 national depots, or can be downloaded from http://www.dbcfoodservice.co.uk/request-a-brochure/. Sue Cronin-Jones, DBC Foodservice's buying and marketing director, said: "In previous years we have launched a Christmas range as well as additional ranges for other party occasions, however the feedback from customers was that events such as New Year's Eve are often equally as busy as Christmas, requiring just as much planning and often similar food solutions. "We therefore created one brochure to enable caterers to plan for the busy party season all at once, with our new Food for Celebrations range. This new offering saves customers time and helps them to manage costs, as the majority of the high quality range can be used for a variety of events." The range includes meat and poultry finger foods such as mini lamb samosas (50 x 15g pieces) or mini naan with chicken tikka (45 x 20g); as well as a host of vegetarian and pastry finger foods such as cocktail duck rolls, and cranberry & brie wontons. Traditional Christmas products include meat options such as Red Tractor British turkey, Roast Premium Turkey Crown (1 x 4.5kg), Fresh Grade A Stag Turkey (2 x 11-12kg) and Turkey Butterflies (2 x 4.5kg). Other Christmas meat options include Fresh Breckland Duckling (6 x 2.2-2.6kg) Desserts range from l favourites such as Matthew Walker mini Christmas puddings (36 x 100g individual puddings) or mini mince pies (1 x 72 pies); to cakes and cheesecakes such as the brand new After Dinner mint wafer cheesecake (1 x cake).
