Dan Doherty to host second round of supper clubs at Harvey Nichols stores

Chef Dan Doherty (of Duck & Waffle) is to host his second round of supper clubs at Harvey Nichols department stores across the UK this spring.

Kicking off in Leeds on 8 March, ‘Sprout’ will see Doherty and his team champion seasonal ingredients, inspired by his favourite flavours and European cuisines. With dishes such as slow cooked lamb shoulder with hot hummus and a pistachio and orange cake with rose Chantilly and orange blossom honey, the theme is to be reflected in both the menu and dining space.

 

Offering brunch and dinner seatings, both will comprise a three-course meal and complimentary cocktail for £25 and £50 respectively, and include Doherty’s take on his “favourite” biscuit – hobnobs – to take home.

 

He said: “I’m really excited to be working with Harvey Nichols again. ‘Sprout’ was a huge achievement and inspired me to continue the journey I started.

 

“I’m so happy this time round I’ll be able to offer Harvey Nichols customers across the UK the opportunity to taste the menu. The food will be simple and tasty, and for each site we’re working with local florists to create a gorgeous green space to reflect the menu.”

 

Harvey Nichols group stores and trading director, Paul Finucane, added: “Following the success of ‘Sprout’ in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge back in June 2017, we’re very excited to be welcoming back Dan Doherty and thrilled to be able to take it around the country!
