Culinary Ability Awards get ready for Glasgow

Written by: Andrew McClean
The Culinary Ability Awards, in association with the Rotary Foundation, will take place at the Glasgow City Chamber on March 3rd for an evening of fundraising.

On the night, a brigade of Culinary Ability Awards chefs with a range of disabilities will dish up a five-course menu under the supervision of chef luminaries from The Restaurant Association, Ayrshire College and Radisson Blu.

Culinary Ability Awards founder and chef, Chris Sandford, said: “We’re thrilled to come home to Scotland, to this incredible venue, and to be part of an event to celebrate the diversity and difference that makes the hospitality industry such an amazing place to work.

The money raised on the night will go towards the Culinary Ability Awards’ aim of becoming an official training provider and creating pathways that make it much easier for people with disabilities to work in the hospitality industry.

A five-piece orchestra will perform on the night and Chef Ambassador Anton Mosimann will deliver a special message.
