The Craft Guild of Chefs will take over the Fine Food Forum on the final day of the Speciality & Fine Food Fair (SFFF).

The annual show, which takes place at London’s Olympia exhibition centre from September 7-9, will again see top chefs create inspiring dishes in the live cooking demo area, and the Craft Guild’s line-up for September 9 includes Rob Kennedy from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, barbecue expert Ben Bartlett, Harrods executive sous chef Allister Bishop, and Craft Guild chairman Christopher Basten.

Hosted by the Craft Guild's CEO, Martin Bates, the association’s day of demonstrations will start with Bartlett, also known as BBQ Ben after winning the first Britain’s Best BBQ’er competition at the British Barbecue Championships in 2003. He will demonstrate innovative new flavours using under-utilised sustainable British fish.

Bishop will be offering visitors an insight into luxury retail and hospitality. With 28 restaurants and four food halls in store, the Harrods food offering is hugely diverse and constantly innovative. As part of his demo he will showcase some of the dishes and techniques used within this world renowned retail operation.

Basten will take to the stage representing leading skills and training organisation, Craft Guild of Chefs, as it prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2015.

Kennedy, who regularly cooks for the Royal family, dignitaries and world leaders will complete the line-up. His theme is Str.eat Party – good looking bowl-food and snacks to share.

The running order will be:
New flavours, great taste ... and British sharks with Ben Bartlett – 11.00-11.45am
Insight into luxury retail and hospitality with Allister Bishop – 12.15-1.00pm
Golden anniversary celebrations with Christopher Basten – 14.45-15.30pm
Str.eat Party with Rob Kennedy – 16.00-16.45pm

The SFFF showcases artisan food and drink to high quality trade buyers and offers the chance for restaurants, caterers & wholesalers, hotels, delis, farm shops and independent retailers to source fine food. For more details about the show, visit www.specialityandfinefoodfairs.co.uk
