Coup de pates launches Chefs at Play 2017

Written by: Isabel Finch
Coup de pates, the high-end foodservice brand part of ARYZTA Food Solutions UK, has launched Chefs at Play 2017, which offers young chefs the opportunity to create a product to feature at this year’s Taste of London restaurant festival.

As part of the nationwide competition, chefs between 18 and 23-years-old are invited to submit a recipe idea combining patisserie and food on the go and using one of eight products from Coup de pates’ semi prepared range.

Paul Whitely, UK Brand and Communications Manager at ARYZTA Food Solutions, said: “Food on-the-go is an absolute mega trend in our industry while high-quality patisserie continues to set the agenda in pastry, with consumer knowledge growing every day.

“The winning product will bring these two trends together in some style, demonstrating an understanding of flavour and texture, and always with a high regard for innovation. Young chefs! It’s time to show us what you’re made of!”

Four finalists will compete in a cook off at the Coup de pates headquarters in London judged by chef ambassador for ARYZTA Food Solutions James Tanner.

ARYZTA Food Solutions, which launched Coup de pates in 2014, is also the parent company of La Carte, Pro Juice and Bouquet Garni.
