Education caterers Alliance in Partnership has secured a four year deal worth around £800,000 with Woodrush High School and Academy for students aged 11 to 18.

David Weller, managing director for AiP, said: "We are delighted that our contract has been renewed and will continue to provide a high level of service and strengthen our relationship further in the future."

AiP will be investing in the latest Bio-metric cashless system from Nationwide Retail Systems.  David Paylor added: "The systems reduce queuing times ensuring all students requiring a lunch are able to move through the service. With multiple options for identification and anonymous Free School Meals the systems offer a 'Total Solution' giving schools optimal proficiency and results."

In addition, there will be an external service facility, marketing/signage and children from neighbouring satellite school Coppice Primary will be provided with a hot nutritious lunch, on a daily basis.

"The investment AIP have made in our school has allowed us the opportunity to become a cashless school and offer one of our feeder school the opportunity for their students to also benefit from healthy school meals.

"The new contract is one of many success stories for AiP, which supplies around 10 million fresh daily school meals across England. The company has seen turnover grow by 70% over the last three years and in the past 12 months £17 million worth of contracts have been confirmed."
