Written by: Admin
Chef and restaurateur Tom Aikens has chosen to adopt OpenTable, a leading provider of reservation solutions, at his Michelin starred flagship Chelsea restaurant when it re-opens on January 12 after a three month refurbishment.
Tom Aikens' other restaurants already use the OpenTable reservation and guest management system. Aikens commented: "The OpenTable system is efficient and easy to use and provides a simple way for us to know and recognise our diners. We have seen at Tom's Kitchen at Somerset House how the combination of the toptable network and OpenTable technology can help us reach more diners, offer better availability and make a positive impact on business levels. This has motivated us to switch systems at my Chelsea restaurant." Chris Wood, managing director of OpenTable, added: "It is great to see more and more restaurants recognising the way our technology can help them generate more bookings. Our real-time reservation system can help them manage their bookings effectively and maximise their business potential whether it be a restaurant with 20 seats or 200 seats." Tom Aikens Restaurant will also be featured on toptable.com, a leading online consumer destination for restaurant bookings in the UK which is owned and operated by OpenTable.
