Lloyd will be responsible for all food operations across both the restaurant and the hotel. He will oversee all aspects of the hotel's food offering, working with Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Culinary Concepts and W London. His knowledge of local tastes and flavours combined with his vast culinary experience will be a driving force for the food programming of all venues at W London." As a well-seasoned veteran of the London hotel and restaurant scene, Lloyd has enjoyed an illustrious career. Having trained at The Dorchester, he went on to hold executive positions at several London hotspots such as Suka the renowned Malaysian restaurant at the five-star Sanderson hotel and BANK Restaurant and Bar. Speaking about his new role Lloyd said: "The pairing of Spice Market with the W brand here in London has been one of the most exciting launches on the London hotel and restaurant scene this year. It is a privilege to be involved at such a senior level. I look forward to working with the team to continue and even exceed the incredibly high standards they have achieved so far." Spice Market and W London opened in February this year. The restaurant marked a well-documented return to London for three Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who, with his company Culinary Concepts, now operates four Spice Market restaurants – the others being in Atlanta, Doha and New York, the flagship site.
