Beyond Food Foundation joins forces with equipment specialist Nevilles UK

Written by: Admin
The Beyond Food Foundation (BFF) has announced a partnership working with equipment supplier Nevilles UK.

Nevilles has recently provided the charity with more than £10,000 worth of equipment for the kitchen at BFF's Brigade Bar & Bistro, where it delivers training programmes and opportunities for homeless people to gain skills, confidence and motivation to help them find employment.

Chef Simon Boyle, who won the 2013 Craft Guild of Chefs' People's Choice Award, is the powerhouse behind both Brigade and the BFF, and has worked tirelessly since 2004 to help homeless people across London rebuild their lives.

Brigade is also home to United Kitchen, a fully certified apprenticeship programme that provides employment and training opportunities to the charity’s beneficiaries. In addition to gaining an NVQ level 2 qualification and professional work experience at Brigade, all apprentices receive a holistic support package from the BFF team.

Nevilles has also committed to providing each apprentice with a “back to work” package that includes uniform, safety shoes, professional chef knives and Practical Cookery book to support their learning.
