BCA continues search for Britain’s best curry house and chef of the year
Battling it out for the titles of ‘chef of the year’ and Britain’s ‘best curry house,’ 40 curry house and takeaway chefs will compete in a live cook off next Monday (16 October), as part of the Bangladesh Caterers Association’s (BCA) annual awards.
Taking place at Hammersmith and Ealing College, participants will be provided raw ingredients (including vegetables and a basic chef larder), as well as being allowed to bring in their own marinades, sauces and decorations.
From the 40 UK participants, judges will then select the finalists, who will be rewarded at the BCA awards ceremony at Park Plaza hotel, Westminster on 19 November.
