BBC search for chefs for new show

Written by: Admin
Producers of a new BBC TV series in the final stages of development are looking to cast eight young chefs who are “up for getting involved and waiting for their big break”.

“It’s a cooking competition, but we’re trying to find people aged 17 – 24 with different levels of experience to take part,” said Adam Ferrari of the BBC.

“We’re looking for confident young people in the cooking industry who think they could be the next Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver and with a passion for food.

“This competition would appeal to anyone working at a junior level in the food industry but ready to go the top. They might be fed up with making burgers and chips and ready to try creating their own dishes.

“The successful applicants should be full of confidence in themselves and ready to take on new challenges in the kitchen. They should be ready to ditch the comfort zone of their pub, restaurant or takeaway to take on a new cooking experience.”

Those interested can email their name, age and a photograph with details of why they think they have what it takes to [email protected] or call him on 0208 008 4772.
