Love has previously worked as sous chef at Heston Blumenthal’s Hind’s Head in Bray, where he was also awarded a Michelin star during his time as head chef.

Wayne Gandy, Alpha LSG’s procurement and culinary director, said: “He will be working closely with our team of chefs across the entire Alpha LSG operation to drive innovation and introduce new culinary techniques. He will also be responsible for developing our chef training programme in conjunction with external partners, such as The Craft Guild of Chefs and colleges.”

Alpha LSG Ltd was created in 2012 as a UK-only joint venture by Alpha Flight Group and LSG Sky Chefs. The business has combined revenues of more than £300 million and employs around 3,600 people.
