365 chefs unite for ChariTable Bookings recipe book
ChariTable Bookings, the charitable restaurant booking platform, has created a recipe book containing dishes from 365 UK chefs to support thousands of registered UK charities.
The ChariTable Bookings Signature Dish book features recipes from chefs including TV chef Tom Kerridge, Sean Burbridge at The Ivy, and Jamie Dobbin at The Groucho Club.
David Johnstone, CEO of ChariTable Bookings, said: “We wanted to do something big that hadn’t been attempted before, bringing together leading UK chefs and restaurants in support of thousands of charities.”
A donation of £5 to a charity of the purchaser’s choice, from a list of over 7,500 charities, is given when they buy the £40 recipe book.
Johnstone, founder of Free Holdings Group, established ChariTable Bookings with Lord Fink, financier and philanthropist. The platform charges the restaurant £2 per person, £1 of which is donated to the user’s chosen charity.
