Nestlé Professional extends Toque d’Or entry deadline

Nestlé Professional has extended the entry deadline for its annual Toque d’Or competition until 14 December due to ‘high interest’.

With another two weeks to enter, organisers are calling on students and apprentice chefs to get involved in this ‘unique development opportunity’.

Among others, Nestlé lists its top six reasons for applying as below:

  • Contestants learn new and different skills

Toque d’Or is designed to inspire the next generation of young chefs to develop their skills, knowledge and experience; to make more possible for themselves and the whole industry.

  • For employers, it shows you invest in your people and builds staff loyalty

The competition offers an opportunity to raise awareness of your company as a conscientious employer; to be recognised as an investor in young talent and inspire others to do the same.

  • Contestants benefit from an unmatched experience

Entrants gain confidence from hands-on cooking master classes as well as gaining guidance, insight and advice from the respected panel of consultants and judges, as well as fellow peers.

  • Chance to appear in the Toque d’Or marketing campaign.

An multi-channel marketing initiative has been designed for the 2019 Toque d’Or competition giving finalists and their employers attention, publicity and praise.

The entry process is straightforward. You register online and a Nestlé Professional ambassador will be in touch to guide you through the process, offer advice and answer any questions.
