Chef ambassador James Tanner joins ARYZTA at Taste of London

It’s been a busy week for chef James Tanner. Hosting the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards on Monday (4 June), he has just announced that he will be joining ARYZTA Food Solutions at the Taste of London festival (15 June) to showcase his Signature Chocolate Pavé.

As company chef ambassadors, Tanner will be accompanied by fellow chef, Wendy Lo, as they showcase their exclusive signature creatures and talk visitors through their products and inspiration.

Tanner, whose dish comprises a chocolate brownie base topped with a milk chocolate praline feuilletine and Ecuadorian chocolate truffle, decorated with chocolate mirror glaze and cacao nibs, said: “I can’t wait to bring my signature dessert to the masses at Taste of London.

“It’s always such a great event and when people see what ARYZTA has planned for 2018, they won’t be disappointed.

“Friday (15th) will be a day like no other as Wendy and I saddle up to show off our creations – she’s one of the most promising young chefs I’ve seen (at only 23 years old) in a long time, with a really bright future – I’m looking forward to catching up with her journey from student chef to present day.”

Wendy will meanwhile present her ‘on-the-go’ winning patisserie product ‘A Taste of Spring’: a sweet tartelette case filled with honey blossom mousse, topped with elderflower, strawberry jam and lemon curd, and garnished with fresh strawberries, blueberries and pistachio nuts.

She commented: “I’m so looking forward to coming to Taste of London, catching up with James and working with the team at ARYZTA.

“Seeing my product on display is a real proud moment for me - especially at such a prestigious, well-known event.”
