The National Chef of the Year
The National Chef of the Year competition is open to chefs who are 23 years or older as of April 1st 2013. Competitors may come from all areas of the hospitality business including hotels, restaurants, pubs, contract catering, fine dining, private and public sectors. Competitors may be working in the UK or overseas.
The 2013 National Chef of the Year is held in partnership with Lockhart Catering Equipment and Unilever Food Solutions' brand Knorr, and in association with CCS, Blue Arrow, Churchill, Electrolux, RARE, Cacao Barry, Culinary Innovations and New Covent Garden Market.
The competition semi-finals will be hosted by Sheffield City College and University of West London, with the final taking place at the Restaurant Show on October 8.
