AWARD-WINNING CHEFS TO TAKE SPOTLIGHT AT HOTELYMPIA SKILLERY

Visitors to Hotelympia 2014 will be able to see both The National Chef and Young National Chef of the Year 2013 in action at the event’s riveting Craft Guild of Chefs-run Skillery.

2013 National Chef of the Year, Hayden Groves and Young National Chef of the Year, Ben Champkin are just two of the high profile chefs lined up to entertain and inform at the live theatre showcase in London’s ExCel from April 28–May 1.

Michelin-starred British chef Tom Kerridge, national chairman of the Craft Guild of Chefs Christopher Basten, Asian cooking master Cyrus Todiwala OBE and, passing on his Crown the retiring 2012 National Chef of the Year Alyn Williams, whose restaurant Alyn Williams at the Westbury holds three AA Rosettes, will also be amongst the big names taking to the stage to help businesses improve their culinary skills, hone menu creation and increase margins.

With key sponsors including Churchill, Knorr, Mars Uncle Bens, Smart Training, T&G Woodware and The Staff Canteen on board, this year’s Skillery is set to be even more of an eye-opener, enticing audiences in with practical showcases of the latest cooking trends using the finest ingredients and equipment.Hotelympia is the UK’s largest foodservice and hospitality exhibition and is considered one of the most effective platforms to reach senior buyers from across the industry.
