Galvin Green Man to host January Lunch Club

Don’t forget to book your place at The Craft Guild of Chefs’ lunch Club at Galvin Green Man in Chelmsford on 16 January 2020 at 12.30pm.

The bi-monthly event provides an opportunity for chefs and food-service professionals to get together, enjoy a meal in a top restaurant, and share best practice with industry peers.

It is also an excellent chance for upcoming chefs to gain first-hand insight from those with long-standing experience in catering.

Open to members and non-members alike, a chance to network and discuss the latest industry happenings, the Craft Guild of Chefs’ Lunch Club scheme is also a great excuse for chefs to get together over some great food and wine.

A glass of Champagne on arrival and a 5-course lunch:

  • APERITIF: Glass of Galvin Champagne
  • STARTER: Velouté of Jerusalem artichoke, mushroom brioche & truffle butter
  • SECOND COURSE: Cannelloni of Dorset crab, braised fennel, shellfish bisque & sea herbs
  • MAIN COURSE: Roast fillet & braised short rib of Hereford beef, pomme Dauphine, parsley root & bone marrow Galvin Rasteau, 2016, Rhone
  • CHEESE COURSE: Ashlyn goatcheese, macerated baby figs, raisin & walnut loaf
  • DESSERT: Crème brûlée, Galvin port poached quince & pain d’epice
