The awards ceremony will be one of many highlights during the Craft Guild's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Nuno Mendes's 'super-trendy' Chiltern Firehouse restaurant is amongst three London-based nominees in the New Restaurant of the Year category. Alongside him is Jason Atherton's City Social, Lee Westcott's Typing Room and from Newcastle, Kenny Atkinson's House of Tides.
The award for this category will be amongst 16 highly coveted awards handed out on the night covering all aspects of the UK chef industry from Public Sector to Ethinic and the Armed Forces' Chef of the Year.
There is also recognition for the upcoming chefs with both the Young and Apprentice Chef categories generating huge amounts of entries.
Finally, one Special Award will be handed out on the night to a chef who has excelled over many years in the industry.
