For over 150 years, the Mash family has hand-selected the finest quality fruits and vegetables for the most prestigious professional kitchens.

The first known records of the family working in fruit and veg date back to 1800, and through the following decades we continued to grow the business by buying farmland to grow our own produce. Fast forward to 1936, the year we joined New Covent Garden Market, and where we were based right up until 2014.

Mash is committed to reducing food waste through donations to the food waste charity, the Felix Project, an organisation collecting food waste from local businesses and redistributing to charities across London. We recently installed an extensive on-site recycling facility and composter, with compost to be used by our growers to produce delicious veg that will eventually come back to us here at Mash.
