These examinations offer chefs under the age of 23 the chance to prove they really are at the cutting edge and are making great strides up the career ladder.
The awards recognise a young working chef’s culinary excellence, testing their knowledge and skills in a series of culinary challenges in a high pressured environment.
The deadline for entries is May 10, after which a select few will be invited to take part in a regional cooking test at Sheffield College and the Cardinal Wiseman School in Greenford, Middlesex, on June 11.
The final exam takes place at University College Birmingham on August 28, with the awards ceremony being held at the Landmark Hotel in London on September 5.
